For over a century, we've been ministering to people during some of the most difficult times in their lives. We've encountered hurting souls struggling with everything from drug and alcohol addiction, to a serious illness, or the loss of a loved one. We've shared the hope that is ours in Christ at a time when they needed it most, and we've witnessed our Savior using these "real life" challenges to pour out blessings upon them.

These challenges however, can also touch our lives, and the lives of those we know and love. When they do, we're filled with a desire to help, but may often find ourselves feeling uncertain of what to do, or how to help, and this uncertainty can hinder our efforts to help and support the ones we love.

In Corinthians, Paul tells us that God "comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." In other words, God wishes to use our experiences, to teach us how to help one another. Mindful of this, we have put together a series of presentations to share some of our experiences with you. In doing so, we hope to raise awareness and promote discussion on these difficult issues, so that together, we might learn how to better offer Christian love and support to one another as we face these "real life" challenges.
